LOWE STUDIO, Windsor

Seamstress and costume designer Emma Lowe commissioned us to design, build and install a bespoke furniture suit for her new home studio in Windsor. Items included a bespoke table to enable a large and comfortable work surface to prepare fabric and create patterns. To easily work between the table and desk, we designed a bar stool with a supporting back using Emma’s measurements to suit the height of both working surfaces. Other items included a large wardrobe, desk, drawer unit, cupboard, shelving and seating with storage. All the furniture was made using high quality birch ply and finished in a hard wearing non toxic varnish, bringing out the grain in the wood, keeping the space light and simple.
