Laptop stand design, London

We designed and machined this neat collapsible, lightweight, wall mounted laptop stand to be used in an office on a narrowboat. With limited space, the stand had to be easily stored when not in use but equally very quick and simple to put up when required. 

The stand was installed at eye height to ensure good posture whilst working, with enough space to have an external keyboard and mouse on the desk. There are keyhole recess’s in both pieces so that the laptop stand can be easily stored on the wall when not in use. 

The laptop stand is made from 19mm orange valchromat and finished in rubio monocoat. 

The images show the laptop stand mounted on a wall, over a 1.2 metre desk to reference that the stand is suitable for use in all spaces. The last image and video below shows the laptop stand in situ for use in the narrowboat office.
