Who we are

 

We are Matt and Rachael and in 2016 we moved onto our first narrowboat Norwegian Wood. The new furniture for the boat needed to be bespoke to maximise available space and functionality. Using Matt’s Architectural expertise we decided to design and make the furniture using plywood cut to precision using a cnc machine.

Out of this project came the love and versatility of using cnc machining techniques and the desire to design and build simple, useful furniture and products that last.

Considered and sustainable design is our ultimate approach to everything we make. We use CNC machining techniques for design accuracy and to limit excessive waste material.

Our studio and workshop is conveniently located next to the Grand Union Canal in West London. Matt also leads the Architecture and Urban design practice group 19 from the same studio space.
